From spreadsheet to product
I turned a client's pharmaceutical forecasting model into a web product for biotech founders and life-science investors. Starting from their requirements and initial application, I built the forecasting workflow, financial model, dashboards, and reporting through to beta launch.
The original spreadsheet held the expertise, but using it meant navigating formulas and passing versions around. PhorecastAI makes that expertise available through a guided workflow, with assumptions people can inspect and change.
Adapt the scenario as you go
Choose the launch regions and adjust how you expect the drug to compare with current treatment on efficacy, tolerability and convenience. You can adapt the forecast on the fly as your view of the medication’s prospects changes.
From patient demand to the investment case
Check the model, not just the interface
Reproducing a spreadsheet is not enough if the spreadsheet itself contains a mistake. While checking the investment calculations against the reference workbook, I found and corrected an existing dilution error rather than carrying it into the product.
The calculations expose their intermediate steps, so a surprising result can be traced back to the assumptions behind it. The numbers have an explanation, not just a chart.
Built through launch
The beta launched in February 2026. I worked through real tester feedback to improve onboarding, clarify market-size calculations, and make reports easier to share, then handed the product into the client's operation.
